Licensed Master Social Worker
Certified PCIT Therapist

Julia Keys is a Licensed Social Worker and Mental Health Therapist with a deep passion for helping children who experience emotional and behavioral challenges. She brings warmth, patience, and genuine curiosity to her work with young people who may struggle with emotional regulation, anger management, executive functioning, or behavioral difficulties.

Julia believes that every child has the capacity to grow and learn new ways to manage big emotions when they feel seen, heard, and supported. She creates a safe, non-judgmental, and nurturing environment where children can express themselves freely and begin to understand the “why” behind their feelings and behaviors. Using a person-centered and collaborative approach, Julia helps children build communication skills, emotional awareness, and self-confidence—empowering them to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and success.

Julia earned her master’s degree in Social Work with a clinical concentration from the University of Houston. During her practicum, she worked closely with elementary-aged children and adolescents, supporting them through family transitions, peer relationship difficulties, academic pressures, and behavioral challenges. Her experience has strengthened her commitment to working with children who may be easily frustrated, overwhelmed, or emotionally dysregulated, and to helping families better understand and connect with their child’s needs.

Julia approaches her work with empathy, curiosity, and hope—believing that meaningful change happens when children and families work together in a space of trust, compassion, and understanding.

JULIA KEYS IS A LICENSED MASTER SOCIAL WORKER WITH THE TEXAS BEHAVIORAL HEALTH EXECUTIVE COUNCIL (TX LICENSE #113343).
