Dr. Hannah Hunter

Hannah Hunter, Ph.D.

Dr. Hunter's PCIT journey began with children who had selective mutism. Many of these children could chat freely at home but froze everywhere else. She was hooked by how quickly they made progress, and by how much of it happened through play.

She completed her internship in the PCIT training program at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, treating families alongside a PCIT Global Trainer, and now trains other therapists as a certified Within-Agency Trainer through PCIT International. Her favorite part of the work is watching a whole family's confidence grow as parents learn tools that hold up in the toughest moments.
